Plans for the regular review and continued improvement of the YPAG should be in place from start up. Tools and methods that will be used to gain feedback from all parties (participants and visiting researchers) to improve the YPAG’s effectiveness during meetings and to measure outcomes of work completed should be determined a priori. Suggestions on these tools and methods are outlined within the Operations section of this platform.
Regular meetings with the Steering Committee should be held to review activities completed by the group. A review of participant attendance rates or retention may also provide information about participant interest or attendance feasibility. Success of teaching activities, as reported by the coordinator or rated by participants, will help to determine areas requiring additional instruction. Finally, a review of where or how researchers may have discovered the services provided by the YPAG will help in identifying future opportunities for growth.
